The image is a screen shot of a Facebook post, written by Bob Gassel and posted in the Marx Brothers Council group. The post says:

"First call for audio submissions to our upcoming Duck Soup re-dive. We want to hear your thoughts, nitpicks, and rants. Where does it rank for you among the brothers' films? Anything related to the movie is fair game.

"However, due to the number and length of submissions we've been getting recently, we need to tweak the guidelines a bit...

"1) Please try and keep submissions to under three minutes. If you need extra time to make your point, that’s fine—but aim to keep it concise.

"2) We also ask that, unless it directly connects to your point about the film, please skip the preamble about how you first discovered the Marxes. Those stories are great, but they eat up too much time. Don’t worry—we’ll dedicate a future episode just to your Marx origin tales.

"3) Finally, try not to just list your favorite bits and scenes...they're pretty much the same for everyone and don't give us anything to respond to.

"As always, be aware that clips may be edited for clarity and to avoid repetition. You can send any audio or video format. The deadline is October 18, 2025. Please email all clips and links to:

Good point! But yes, it's not like the drunk scene in Go West -- he's not foolish or being taken advantage of. I'm not saying he wouldn't react, just that he wouldn't blow his top like Laurel or Costello. He wouldn't be done in. Maybe he'd LOVE the peppers, wolf 'em down & ask for more (gesturally).

I think it could be funny, in comparison to others' reactions in the setup! Harpo would be impervious, you know? He wouldn't react to the heat the way Laurel or Costello (or any human!) would. Think of Groucho and Chico playing drunk in Go West, and how wrong that seems for a Marx Brother...
