We hear about sending “checks” to Americans but what real substance aren’t we hearing enough about for true health reform?

1. Clear plan for lowering prices for drugs and hospital care (ours are the worlds highest by far)
2. Removing deductibles for preventive care
3. Public option

And then there are plenty of women who decide to have children without a man. Or with a boyfriend or girlfriend or life partner. Ok. Once again, how is that not liberation?

We have less than 5% of the world’s population but almost 33% of its billionaires.

Meanwhile, 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. 40% cannot cover any emergency expenses.

Our systems have failed the majority of Americans…and that disparity is being accelerated by this administration.

America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

America's richest 10% now hold 60% of the nation's wealth.

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.

Theres a foolish impulse by legacy media that if & when they cover most stories, it’s simply time to move on. Trump’s ceaseless corruption, criminality, cognitive decline & compulsive, narcissistic hatred gets glossed over in the process. I for one won’t move on until he’s gone & held accountable.
How are these fits of presidential incontinence never covered as their own news events in NYT? Hours of sick hateful bile from the curdled joyless leader of the Christian nationalists sitting in the ruins of the tinsel trimmed White House he’s demolishing — seems like a story to me.

It’s so ridiculous that people can’t see what’s missing from politics right now that hurts us so badly is exactly what you’re trying to create; COMMUNITY.
It won Mamdani his office, and will win you your seat: because a representative is supposed to make their district, their community, BETTER!

What’s especially sickening about the Felon’s #EpsteinFiles rants is he shows no regard for the victims. He says to share the names of democrats to embarrass them. This isn’t about embarrassment. It’s horrific crimes against children. The men need to be held accountable. Survivors deserve justice.
