I do wish they’d leave poor Rachel Reeves alone. Why can’t we mind our own business?

Faintly depressed to have an American pope. I imagine him showing up to say Mass in a MAGA hat.

Post the names of five entirely fictional people that you've never met but only one of them is human using only the last stupid fucking photo you took with your phone and the title of a sexy obscure book you're pretending to have read over the course of the next 40 days and then fuck off.

Four customers today. At one stage, I really did think it was going to be the first day in 29 years with no one through the door. I know it's the cold weather etc etc, but it's hard to stay upbeat when it's quiet. Want to buy a book and keep me busy wrapping tomorrow?

A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. Please repost if you agree 🌳

A friend visiting from overseas is horrified by the barrage of images of cruelty to animals, child neglect, famine and disease in TV adverts, particularly during breaks in gentle, family viewing in the afternoon and early evening. It’s the first time I’ve realised not everyone has to stomach this.

Can anyone explain to me who attacked Angus and drugged him and how that storyline had anything to do with anything? #shetland

I expect Trump’s had enough by now. It’s not really his scene, after all. #notredame
