Just to note. January 23, 2019 there was a vote to reopen government (HJ RES 28, roll call vote 46) when the govt had been shut down for 30 days.

Mike Johnson voted “no” on that.

They didn’t seem to mind shutdowns then

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

And for now, the Supreme Court has signed off on such dubious practices without an explanation. Every American, including those who want tougher enforcement of our immigration laws, should demand that ICE does its job in a way that protects the rights of all Americans.

Wow. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. just single-handedly ruled that Congress doesn’t really control the purse strings. This is becoming a massive crisis for checks and balances and the separation of powers.

Putin could be arrested by the U.S. in Alaska. The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for war crimes related to the alleged unlawful deportation of children from Ukraine. This may include alleged war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.

PLEASE read this one. Kinda required reading. If you agree, which I hope you do, print in color and magnetically attach to your refrigerator. It is marvelous and very clear to all who visit: this is what we stand for. PERIOD.

Dems should fight on every front.

If Texas steals 5 seats, Dem states should redistrict 30 GOP members out of their districts.

We should insist DOJ release the entire Epstein File.

Not only shouldn't we bring knives to a gun fight, if they bring pistols, we should bring machine guns.

3/4 The leaders will never attain their goals, yet millions will suffer and many others will be held back from achieving their best selves, which ironically would ultimately serve the country best.

1/4 In general, the current U.S. government wants to reduce the population of the U.S.— the old, the ill, the poor, the international residents. We are all just too expensive.
