Been a long road to where I am today at 74. Love gardening, brewing beer, growing weed, fungi forays, photographing nature, baking, and volunteering. My passions are to reduce food insecurity, find the most beautiful mushrooms, immerse in all the arts.
Guttation is wacky and always fun to find. Green cheese polypore

Once I started seeing them under a microscope, or even using a loupe, they all of a sudden became my fave. And then I learned what they are and now I'm hooked on 'em. Cheers!

Plus I'm halfway thru your new book and it's fabulous. At 75, I want to embark on a little consciousness expansion. You are the gateway 🙃.

Panpsychism proposes that all things have a consciousness. We may need to expand our definitions as you say

Will since they're done by a computer, no one really cares. Hopefully you have a good tool to handle calls. Not an endorsement but I use HiYa. Works well and you can set it to block numbers that start with the area code and exchange.

I think you may be right. Very hard to identify, IMO, from just a photo or 2. Happy hunting in any event

Ok. I guess that part of the stipe was under the leaf litter or ground before you took the pic.

Sorry but his expiration date was long past. He is not at the top of his game...at all

Gorgeous. Do you think the stipe is being attacked by another fungus?
