unironically, B3313 is some of the coolest shit. It's so terrifying. What makes it all the more unsettling is it's characters and settings most players will know like the back of their hands too… that said i hope unabandoned A3 comes out soon because the current ending is a wet fart of an anticlimax

i need to add something: even so called knockoffs can be good if you add enough of a new spin on things to keep it fresh. that’s why megabonk is popular despite the dated humor: they added a z axis and extraction elements.
Vampire Survivors is being blamed for fucking up the trajectory of indie games and yeah everything is a casino rougelike bullet heaven rn but man I can't hate on Vampire Survivors itself for what it has spawned. Games rules. Beautiful brain rot.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
