A compromise, then. Keep crossing the brexit ball over, in the hope that somebody nods it in (these analogies are getting silly now) but stop giving Reform and Farage their own special platform all the time. I mean, why does he get his own special right of reply to the PMs conference speech? 🤷‍♂️

I couldn't agree more that he gets a free ride on brexit, which is mystifying and infuriating in equal measure. Still, I don't think the 'Farage obsession' accusations relate purely to this interview. The interview takes place within an environment in which Farage and Reform HAVE to be referenced.

I'm no fan of the current Labour govt, but the phrase 'continuing with brexit' has to be the ultimate in English exceptionalism. What do you think we need to do, just click our fingers like the Fantastic Mr. Fox and say 'calm down guys, we're coming back!'?

I bet you rather like that Kim Jong Un chap, don't you. 'Everybody just do as they're told, and we won't have any problems. You're perfectly entitled to protest, of course, but we are entitled to use the apparatus of the state to physically assault you if you do'
