Ooh, weirdly I only died twice on the path to the good ending. Loved playing this, thanks for making it!

I abused the Substack links system to make an interactive thing recently too (it only works in a browser like Chrome, not the Substack app) : matahaggisburridge.substack.com/p/interactiv...

When my Microsoft authenticator gives me the code '69', I always imagine it asked me what number it was thinking of in the voice of a young Keanu Reeves.

It might have worked, just not how we expected.

I had that done the old way with flames, so perhaps my results were less extreme. As long as you're okay, that's good, I was just a bit worried.

If these are the Chinese cups, then that doesn't look right. They leave red rings for a while, but not giant hickeys. Maybe I'm wrong, but are you sure this person is good?

I didn't understand that post particularly, but recognised the deep jeans lore and knew it was legit WG.

Fun fact: One of EA's new owners, Affinity Partners (investment group founded by Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner) has a similar logo to fictional Templar-run evil Assassin's Creed gaming company Abstergo Entertainment

With the style of film, it could be deliberate 🤷 it gave us plenty of chuckles, sounds like you had a good time too.

It's when the AI bubble pops and governments start arguing it's all too important to fail and bailing out the companies, like happened with banks in 2008, that it'll get really interesting.

Watched it last night - it's a lot of fun!

I watched The VelociPastor last night. I can confirm it is exactly as expected: knowingly rubbish and very good fun.

I also admire the editing. With bad editing literally none of the jokes would have landed, but it's solid throughout and makes the film is fun and very watchable.

Hey, guys, bad news. Just been to the void and it's closed to any new screams. Apparently it's overflowing so we've gotta find somewhere else to unburden ourselves into the ether. I might try the abyss next, but I hear if you scream long enough, it'll start screaming back, which, y'know, fair.

2. Why would I care when it's got that title?

Blimey.

I'd love to pitch this to a literary agent these days! 🤣

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.
