While this is among the least warmed months and the Tropical Pacific Ocean is relatively cool.

This indicates a global warming rate of about 0.4°C/decade. A warming rate increase of >0.2°C/dec.

In line with a Global Aerosol Termination Shock.

Should have asked for 500,000 dollars, or even a million. Often schools etc ask for much less than the funder is prepared to give because they fear not getting it. Then use the money for environment education on fossil fuel induced climate change

Most women will choose to have one child come what may. Beyond that, a lot depends on other factors. That's why the fertility rate trends towards 1.x in most developed countries.

Then, you want to enjoy your youthful energy and opportunities. Not saying children are not fun, but if you don't have any it can seem very daunting, so lots of people will choose to put it off.

More than half of each year group spend until age 22 at uni, then a quarter go to grad school. If you've got huge student loans to pay off, need to get a high pay stable job, and want to get a home, then having children just feels impossible, even irresponsible.

I don't think this is a hot take but maybe a minority opinion, but most people are choosing to have no kids or fewer kids for reasons outside of money. And some of that is selfishness because having kids is hard (I say that as someone who didn't want more than one cause I ain't built for it lol)
