Now for the top ten WR by yardage as of right now. Going to do TE separately since there are so many this year, while skipping RB since there's only two in the top 50.

Been a minute since I've done, well, much of anything, so let's do a few quick roundups of the league's top performers so far!

We'll start off with pass rushers. As always look out for the trends for the type of players who get the most sacks.

CMU runs out of time, kick is no good, EMU runs to end the clock, so we'll go to halftime with the score sitting at a lopsided 21-6.
September 27, 2025 at 6:32 PM
CMU with a nice return, looking to drive down for another score before halftime.

21-6 Chips, sitting near the 50 with a minute left.
September 27, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Eagles finally get a bug play of their own, and they're marching.
September 27, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Icing the kicker didn't work, CMU up 21-3.
September 27, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Touchdown Chippewas, now up 20-3 with 10:46 left in the half.

EMU called timeout on the XP, guess they're trying to ice the kicker or som'n.
September 27, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Eagles finally get a stop on 3rd down, but Chips convert 4th and 1 and are now sitting 1st and goal.
September 27, 2025 at 5:48 PM
CMU with ANOTHER big play, 1st and 10 from the 32, just beating the doors off their lesser in state rivals.
Eastern has the worst defense I’ve ever seen
September 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
End of the first, CMU has dominated Eastern, has not been as close as the 14-3 score would suggest.
September 27, 2025 at 5:39 PM
EMU needs to come up with something to slow down this Chippewa offense, they've had nothing so far.
September 27, 2025 at 5:38 PM
EMU with a questionable 3rd down play call in the red zone followed by a personal foul.

Forced to kick, 42 yard FG is good. 14-3.
September 27, 2025 at 5:35 PM
CMU with their second big play of the game, this one long for a TD. XP is good, 14-0 with 5:04 left in the 1st. Not EMU's day so far.
September 27, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Chippewas on the board with a neat one handed catch and stretch in for a score. XP is good. 7-0

When Alex told me that the NFL denied him a credential after we had booked the trip, I didn't panic at all because I knew he was going to write a killer story anyway

Despite knowing that, I was floored at how fucking good it ended up being
The NFL denied my credential.
American Airlines put me in purgatory.
God Did Not Want Me to Go to Brazil.

Wide Left sent me anyway.

I got one hell of a story out of it:
God Did Not Want Me to Go to Brazil
Neither did the NFL. Wide Left sent me anyway.

Doing a study right now that's turned up some interesting results.

If you score around 50th percentile in all 10 metrics we use for #RAS, you're about a 50th percentile RAS player.

If you score around 70th percentile in all 10 metrics, you're around 8.6 RAS (86th percentile).

Short break and I'll finish up 21-32.

Since we've got final rosters set in for 2025 to start the season, it's time to rank the rosters by #RAS!

Few surprises if you've been following me for any length of time, but that's why we do these, for fun!

Note, the 2024 comps are from END season, so won't line up with last year PRE rankings.

The Patriots replaced a bottom-of-the-roster defensive tackle with an undrafted rookie wide receiver signing his first NFL deal on Monday.

Here are 800 words on that move, including a look at split salaries, per diem payments, RAS scores (h/t @mathbomb.bsky.social), and a whole lot more.
