This blog on the "offer" made to universities by the Trump administration is very useful. A university signing it puts itself into a position in which Trump admin can arbitrarily decide if policies are exactly to their liking. I call on Governor Abbott to immediately withdraw any support for this decision and refuse to coordinate. There is no reason a President should send military troops into a sovereign state without their knowledge, consent, or cooperation.

Too often, tech creates logistical problems that disrupt learning.

My 6th grader's school, for ex, uses Chromebooks for everything. But the kids haven't learned typing, so work takes longer than by hand. And they often forget to charge the devices at home, so class gets wasted trying to plug in.
