Weekend vibes! ✨
It’s been a great day of maths - lots of averages, algebra and problem-solving! Now it’s time to recharge (my voice was definitely disappearing by my last class… oops!)

Hoping for a little rest - and maybe a swim too!

What’s your favourite way to rest and reset? Have fun! 😊🌈

Early finish today, so I'm outside with Cherry, planning lessons in the sunshine! Definitely beats sitting at a desk 😆 Anyone else making the most of the good weather? ☀️

Happy Easter everyone! I've been doing maths on the go, on my bank holiday weekend outing 😁🌻 I'll be sharing more soon! 🤩

Can you guess where I am? What are you up to this weekend? 🐰

Feeling far too amused that this face mask is “supercharged with probiotic fractions” - 2 million of them, apparently! 😆

Off to do some colouring while I imagine a flock of numerators and denominators working together to give me glowing, healthy skin. Now that’s maths magic 🪄

Three Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know About Me!

1. I have a fluffy cat who loves licking my ears.

2. My favourite number is 4 - sometimes I even do things in 4s without thinking!

3. I have loads of cuddly toys. And yes, I cuddle them! 😆

What's your favourite fun fact about you or your pets? 🐾

✨ Maths done, weekend mode on! ☕ Time for tea (chocolate & vanilla—what a find!), cats, blankets & relaxed colouring. Might even add some extra colour to my hair—always helps me feel brighter! 🌈 How’s your week been? Resting or keeping the momentum going? 😊 #FriYAY #SelfCareTime #HomeEducation

Today's free maths class is cancelled - apologies! I'm listening to my own advice and taking a rest! Sometimes, the best thing we can do is recognise when we need a break, particularly as neurodivergent people. Thanks for understanding! My other classes are still running as usual 🌈

Happy International Women’s Day! ✨

Today I’m celebrating women forging their own paths in education - tutoring, home-educating or learning! There’s no single way to succeed - that’s worth celebrating! 🎉

Today I'm enjoying my favourite breakfast - how are you finding joy? 🌈

Chilling with tea this weekend - turmeric & ginger for warmth and lavender at night (which my cats love!) 🐱 I always leave the teabag in & sometimes top up the water a few times - yes, it's weak, but still tasty! 😆 Any tea recommendations? Bonus points if they smell nice enough to attract a cat! ☕🐾

Oh gosh, I'm feeling so overwhelmed this evening after a few days of admin and sorting classes!

If you're struggling with the transition back to classes this week, I see you 🌈

Thank you all for being so lovely 💟

A breakthrough moment: If I can do maths, what else can I do? 🤯 One student went from exam anxiety to aiming for A-level maths - proving to themselves they’re capable of more than they ever thought! Maths is about confidence, and thinking differently. 🧮 I'd love to help your learner too! 🌈

🐱 Cat Yoghurt Economics! 📊

Tesco: £1.40 (5x15g) – 28p each
Aldi: 95p (5x15g) – 19p each
Lidl: £1.29 (7x16g) – 18.4p each

Lidl wins on price, but what about convenience? Should I factor in travel costs? 🤔

📢 What real-world maths have you used this weekend? ⬇️🐱

It’s #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek and this year’s theme #KnowYourselfGrowYourself got me reflecting.

As a child, I struggled with anxiety. I didn’t know I was neurodivergent - or that school isn’t the best place for every learner.

💬 What advice would you give your younger self?

All the best people have a soft toy support system! 🧸

I know I do - plus three very snuggly cats who take their support duties very seriously! 🐱🐱🐱

What about you? Do you have a favourite comfort item, support system or self-care ritual? Let’s celebrate the little things that help us to recharge! 🌈

✨Self-Care Saturday 💜✨

I've been tackling my tax return – no maths anxiety here, but definitely "admin anxiety"! 😅 Reminder: we all have different strengths, and it's okay to pause.

Taking a breather with my swirly coffee ☕ (galaxy in a cup 🌌). How are you being kind to yourself today? 🌈

First trip out since Monday – off to the supermarket for supplies and, of course, a mocha in the café! ☕ Brought my trusty to-do list and some excellent stationery to keep me on track.

Hope you're all having a lovely day! 🌈
