The From games (except Sekiro) all allow for a wider breadth of player builds, which is interesting for sure. But Lies of P (and Sekiro) could design boss fights more tightly tuned to a narrower band of player ability and so they could more aggressively challenge what they knew the player could do.

Lies of P low key has the best pure combat in the genre.
