Would you league have a case as The First Dynasty League?

I know there are Strat play-by-mail leagues that stretch back to the ’80s, and probably earlier.

That is similar to my theory. They have higher levels of natural athleticism to help them progress mechanically.

I also wonder if the diverse movement patterns required to hit and field at a high level also help them refine aspects of pitching.

I'm not sure. It's something I want to keep an eye on. We have just seen so many success stories in recent seasons, for reasons that I don't fully understand.

Specifically, I'm interested in those who drop hitting to focus on pitching as professionals, and what that might mean for their pitch development, rest period and between-starts routine.

Jonathan Santucci of the Mets is another example. He was a two-way player in HS and as a Duke freshman.
