Yeah the conversion from 5e to DCC was ... rough for a couple of my group, a couple took it really well though, but of the 2 that didn't like it, 1 outright refuses to play DCC again, and the other seemingly only wants to play 5e which takes them out of ever playing the games I run .

Honestly not too often unless it's an emergency, we play in person and they all seem to still look forward to playing, so they make it a point to show if possible or give notice. The online game I'm in though misses every other session due to people canceling last second.

For sure, but I just wish more people realized it was happening, and that the creators/owners of the content cared more. Like I know there are people who would more or less volunteer to convert formats if the owners gave them access to the raw files, they just won't.
