2 blocks away, got a face full within minutes. Burned our eyes, noses, throats, skin. Many retching; kids, elders could not breathe. All remained calm & moved quickly, no panic, to get to fresh air blocks away. Helpers washed our eyes. I’ll be 65 in Feb, spouse 79. Never b4 attacked by our country 💔

And if citizenship status does make a difference, why has the ICE shooting in CA of an American citizen not garnered the same reaction? Is it because he was a Black man and a member of BLM? Or is it because he's an imperfect victim, alleged to have had a gun?

Immigration enforcement, detention, deportation, these things have always been killing machines. But if we are JUST talking about ICE agents shooting and killing people in American streets? Citizenship status should not be a determining factor in whether there's outrage.
