I love the fact that Discord has become such a ‘thing’, but have so much trouble using it just bc of interface/infinite scroll layout: soon as a zone gets active, it feels unusable just bc so much noise/so parsing or organization. Am I alone in this?

Thinking a lot about the 'physics' or affordances of different platforms. I wish Bluesky wasn't essentially a Twitter clone with better ethics, and wonder if i would just be happy with less evil IG? What other metaphors are there for this? Surely something?
