Average battery prices for passenger EVs are now below $100/kWh, often seen as the threshold for price parity with ICEs. Some EVs have achieved it, but this varies by region, segment and automaker.

As a Canadian, I really do feel bad for Americans when I see this because I’m guessing there are going to be many more situations like this. Especially now that there are talks of a Canadian tariff placed on teslas as retaliation to trump, I think the EV5 will do well as a model 3 replacement.
