I have to hand it to Democrats. I'm one of the feds working and not getting paid and they manage to make reopening the government feel worse than the alternative.

I think it's worth clarifying that you do in fact retain free speech while you're in the military. You are in fact allowed to say what you want in a private capacity, including political speech.

We had our first San Marzano-style tomatoes ripen today in the garden! So, I decided to make a turkey sandwich with shokupan bread made by @dlytle21.bsky.social, side salad, and black tea iced tea for lunch. Very yummy!
