So, 6 of 7 stories accepted. I withdrew the 7th from 8 places it was submitted to because I managed to score a developmental edit by one of my favorite writers. That story is now waiting on me to revise it.

I've now cleared my plate and have no stories sent out, but should send out 8 more by March.

Great thing: that story was ONLY submitted there, so had zero rejections.

Reply above yours works for me, erase(compare) in blending mode.

You know how to adjust a mask using a transparent color with an airbrush to erase, and a solid color to add to the mask? Like that, but with the gradient tool.
