I don’t ask for much but, ideally, work it out amongst yourselves which Sade you’re going for and don’t split her vote.

I guess when you do this sort of calculus you can draw a line under things without needing to be getting to the involvement of Jeff Lynne.

OTOH, imagine being a creative director who can’t do any new work as it will be badly received and people say “just give us the same ad as the last 25 years”. And then think about the opportunity to massage your own ego/save the brand with your new creative having cratered the old one.
Cynical? Me?

I’ve been listening to the playlists for HMs and, I’m afraid to say, on pure weight of numbers, rap is doing badly (and then you look at the feed and try to work out what getting multiple votes and it’s not encouraging)

Hang on, isn’t this the guy who was complaining about Kendrick getting artificially boosted?
Every accusation is a confession etc.

I think the Healy one is worse tbh. But they’re both pretty bad.
This is on Rodrigues now.

I think the person saying Taskmaster doesn’t work in the US - or at least the way I tool is - is that they attempted to make it but couldn’t hit on what made the UK version work.
Perhaps? I wouldn’t know, I haven’t seen 1 min of it but then I had my sense of humour removed in 2014.

Re: someone else saying Taskmaster doesn’t work in the US (and presumably is watched out there), another one that seems to have a bit US following is Bake Off.

The very frequent habit of an opening episode beginning in the middle of some action and then it going “how did I get here?” and rewinding is a close cousin of this I think, and has become similarly irritating for me.

I got the 30th anniversary edition the other day, with the Glastonbury performance on the back of it. Would recommend, even with the (explained in the liner notes) sound problems on a couple of tracks.

Without knowing anything about Gunna, and asked to guess where they’re from, I’d have thought that was an Arsenal fan MC.

Bonkers is pretty corny [complimentary], we don’t need to drag that big lummox into it necessarily

Yeah, brilliant player. I went to a few KSL games back in the day that was the main women’s competition in England; she really stood out at a point where money wasn’t as plentiful as now (and it could still do with being more). And as professionalism has expanded she’s kept pace. She is so good.

Hmmm…
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves (and I think a lot rests on these two and DWH) but they’ve rebuilt well so far.

Quite. I think fair to say that SA are inconsistent. They’ve shown that they’re more than capable of a blow up but they’ve got players like Kapp, Wolvaardt, Brits, Khaka, so when it comes off, they’re pretty fearsome.
