Of course the lawyers endorsed by the ABA are all (but one) BlueSky people.

Among actual lawyers you find a fair amount of balanced left/right opinion, but the ABA has been a captured institution for some time.
Where are they now? With all the talk of Bluesky dying, I went back to the ABA's 2017 Best of Law Twitter list, and guess what? All but one of them are on Bluesky! Some are more active than others, but they're here. So, I made a starter pack.

If Matthew Yglesias is too far to the right to be a democrat in good standing, then the democratic party is the fringe party that its detractors consider it to be.

All the bad things that you've read about social media enabling trump, that's all just as true about left leaning politics, too.
A lot of people have concocted this absurd rhetoric about “bad faith.” You guys are all mind-readers now?

My faith is extremely good, and I want Democrats to have a more moderate national issue-positioning and a bigger tent coalition that can meaningfully contest elections in more places.
You’re getting screamed at because of your bad faith, not your slightly more conservative views on 3 issues.

These views won’t win elections, and you know it.

The bully pulpit worked a treat for the John Lewis Voting Rigjts Act.
The SCOTUS piece is the one that irks me most because court reform was a genuine live issue at the start of Biden’s term. They forced it into a study group to ice everyone, and then did absolutely nothing on its recommendation. But now we get the bully pulpit for term limits and ethics reform.
In his farewell address, Biden calls for:

An end to dark money

18 year term limit on Supreme Court Justices and ethics reform

A ban on stock trading in Congress

Amending the Constitution to say no president is immune from crimes committed in office

Look at the replies to this. Bluesky is as much a cesspool as kiwi farms, much less Twitter.

Chait has been beating this same drum for 4 years, pardon me if I'm skeptical that this is an earnest reflection on the actual election.
