We've had a member's bill just written up to entrench our maori seats in law, unfortunately as im sure youre quite well aware theres been an awful lot of urgency used and not a lot of general laws given their time to be studied closely by the public. that story is quite a read

I did some reading of the ACC board after the story this morning, things definitely need a shake up especially after the up to 80% increase given to some board members in government.

Gisborne council got a letter from Todd mcleay forestry minister effectively saying you're on your own here last week. With the pushes national is doing for regional councils it's not great news. This storm is a biggie for the councils affected.
