I hate that we’re at a point where the qualifications to get elected have nothing to do with the qualifications for being in office. I’m trying to find up and coming candidates to support but I totally understand how hard it is to do while working a supporting a family etc.

This is so true, and so depressing. I hope she is able to stay involved. There are so many seats that I know people want to see changed, but it’s so hard for new candidates to get any kind of footing against incumbents. Especially when so many incumbents can just pour money into the race.
