I think that number is low… quick Google- and climate disasters cost the $189bn in US alone in 2024- this mumber doesn’t take into account rising food prices, political instability etc etc

climate change is still only tickling the edges of this challenge…. and there is also dying political will to tackle this head on because public finances are shot…. But cost of doing nothing is- in long term will be disastrous…

Govt dishonesty is also cowardice - and inability to do anything radical lest the press/ media (in hands of media barons) provide endorsement / support….
We need to recast the welfare state so dignity / pride / hope is reignited - but that means taxing fortunes/ change at the top of $$$$ pile

Programmatic approach and thinking of the urban environment as a a system - ie the interrelationships between the parts of a whole, rather than on the parts in isolation (a building).
