I’ve seen too many gays complain about Michelle Yeoh as Madam Morrible because her singing voice isn’t top notch. Ya’ll…she was not cast because she can sing… SHE WAS CAST BECAUSE MORRIBLE NEEDS TO BE EEEEEVVVVIILLL. No one can do that like Michelle Yeoh.

Music theory falls in two camps either you need it or you don't. I fall in the "nice to have" because it makes the processes much easier but definitely not essential

Theater is a hard thing to make. It is draining and complex to view as a director. However, I was lucky enough to be dealt two incredible shows in 2023 (one of which just closed) and while I’m tired and needing to recoup…I’m also incredibly thankful for the artists I’ve worked with this year ❤️.
