In addition to the three main reasons for advancing a ceasefire, the senior 🇮🇱 official noted that "Israel is negotiating with the Biden administration and it’s estimated that the agreement will allow the US to lift delays on arms supplies. However, this isn’t presented as an incentive or condition."

The Nesheiwats are the children of Jordanian Christian immigrants, so Trump’s new NSA has Jordanian-American family. I wish this were cause for optimism about how Waltz might influence Trump Mid East policy. But it is literally the only remotely encouraging thing I’ve heard about him.
