I don't know who needs to hear this, but when a friend sets a boundary with you, it's because they're *trying* to maintain a healthy friendship with you.

The alternative is to walk away and cut off contact entirely, or endure their boundaries being ignored until they can't anymore and leave anyway.

I know it's difficult to be creative when we're just trying to survive. But it does matter. Whether you make things professionally or as a hobby or even if you make something that you never show to anybody. It's good for the human soul to create.
