Leading genocide scholars formally declare that Israel’s war on Gaza meets the UN’s definition of genocide.

Israel has previously strongly denied that its actions in Gaza constitute genocide, citing its right to defend itself.

Eighty-six percent of those who voted in the 500-member International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) supported the motion.
