What is so great about this is that the central tyranid: a member of an utterly impacable, emotionless, alien race, has a look of confused suprise on his face, as if he's thinking "wait, what the fuck? how did these guys get in here?...and is that one dressed as a pirate?"

rewatched the akira movie tonight and while i love it and think it’s a great adaptation, every single time i watch it it just reminds me that the manga version of the story is like 1 trillion times better

Obviously, this is amazing BUT the thing I love most, is that it's directly poking fun at the desire/fetish to overanimate overlapping action & smears.
Asking someone of James Baxter's calibre to *intentionally* do this (as well as mess up the spacing on a bounce) is funny in the nerdiest way.
James Baxter’s 2D animation in ‘The Wonderfully Weird World Of Gumball’ new episode.

Nice to see Jake Paul getting his jaw broken but that was definitely rigged. High-profile boxing is honestly a joke, why did I have to get invested in this sport
