To be fair I never thought the intention of Pikmin was that it was post-apocalyptic or post-humanity, because there are new human structures that appear between 1 and 2. Pikmin are probably more like fairies who live on a separate plane from humans where they can’t see each other.

There is an aspect of big budget games that wants/wanted to recapture the feeling of entering Hyrule Field in OoT for the first time, and I think an aspect of FFXI that's a little underappreciated are the environmental-navigational puzzles that you have to think through even if you know where to go.

It feels like the fictional aspect of exploring ancient and abandoned areas in FFXI like Garlaige Citadel and Quicksand Caves that were inhabited by peoples that have since moved on, has become non-fictional in the sense of new players essentially exploring Ye Olde Leveling Dungeon.

Isn't it amazing that it only took billions of dollars to make a machine that can aaaalmost spit out the exact video you put into it?

You can show Yoshida items to get a hint about their intended use, and you can learn a lot just by following a specific character for a day/week, or hanging out in one area all day to see what happens there. I solved the entire game like this, took me a while but I value the experience.

Do what do you gotta do but I personally feel that Moon especially benefits from immersing yourself in the game world and not looking up outside info or listening to outside audio.

Right now I’m still working on clearing out story missions so I gotta pay attention to the cutscenes… but I’ll get there

The two best videogames Nintendo has ever made are Cubivore and Advance Wars 2 and this is NOT up for debate

This post is doing numbers but I can’t be sure any of the people like/retweeting it are taking it in the way that I meant it

I’ve said it before but it still baffles me how EarthBound is a genuinely great RPG that somehow managed to get a fanbase made entirely of people who can’t recognize a good RPG aside from EarthBound.

Bakuman isn't even very good but for some reason I've read it all the way through twice and am considering a third time (anime adaptation sucks tho)

I think it reminds me of a time when I was actually in a creative community and was happy

I would like to learn a new skill but deep in my heart I believe that nothing matters or is important any more
