It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

If Xi Jinping invaded Taiwan right now, and toppled the president there, on what grounds would the United States object? Or have any credibility to say anything?

The bill to release the Epstein Files passed Congress by such an overwhelming and bipartisan vote that Donald Trump will have no choice but to sign it, as he promised.

But after months of obstruction, we should know this is unlikely to be the end of the fight for answers.

Attorney General Pam Bondi came before the Judiciary Committee today.

But she refused to answer a raft of important questions.

On Tom Homan's bribe.

On Donald Trump's new luxury plane.

On January 6th pardons.

On illegal strikes in the Caribbean.

On Epstein.

The stonewalling was staggering.

My explanation of my opposition to HJR-B: a resolution to require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote. This destructive measure would absolutely create barriers to vote for legal voters and I will be voting no, both in committee, and on the House floor.
