Charges are about cocaine trafficking. And yet, I doubt any member of WH press corp will ask Trump about the hypocrisy of the pardon for former Honduras president.

It’s not enough to win in November — we need to elect Members of Congress who will use the power we give them to fight for us and our democracy. We need leaders who are prepared to hold the regime accountable and enact meaningful checks on Trump from the second our new majority takes power in 2027.

The Trump administration says it arrested 4,500 people in a mission targeting “the worst of the worst.” The reality is most of them were people with brown skin who were at the right place —their landscaping jobs, the hardware store, a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru— at the wrong time.

You did incredible work here, this is one of the most thorough accounts of American fascism that I’ve read. I am sure it was not easy to report on, logistically or emotionally, but I’m so grateful for the courage of you and your colleagues in bringing this to light.
