I consider myself levelheaded but I almost lost it when I had to get into a Tesla taxi a few weeks back on a business trip. That door stuff freaks me out.

I consider myself levelheaded but I almost lost it when I had to get into a Tesla taxi a few weeks back on a business trip. That door stuff freaks me out.
My colleague who gets called off sick frequently just got a sick not from today through a week into the new year. How convenient for them.

I need pecans for two of my Thanksgiving dishes (sweet potato casserole and stuffing). Did anyone else notice there are almost none in stores and what is there is in smaller packages and even more expensive than normal? Apparently they come from the US?

I’m on an ICE to Berlin (there for less than 24 hours for work) and the ONLy reason this trip is working is because I woke up my husband and had him drive me to Mannheim. All the S and Regio options were canceled or severely delayed. Screw DB.

Privileged complaint but it seems that the only family members that visit Europe do so with carry on only luggage. This is just highly inconvenient for me, someone who wishes they could bring stuff with them, especially with the breakdown of the postal service.

I had a minor surgery earlier this month and I traveled to a surgeon over an hour away for it because they had a qualification I couldn’t find locally and that only a handful of docs in Germany have. SO many people (including other Drs) have been confused why I traveled. Am I really that American?

We need to decide if it’s worth making a second visit with an architect.

Because I’m on a posting spree: over the weekend we found out that the overpriced sale of our apartment fell through. This was in part because we refused to move out earlier than our 6 month notice. So we stay put for now, but they raised our rent to an eye watering sum. So we kinda look too . . .

I was just informed by my legal associates at Cards Against Humanity that our lawsuit against Elon Musk was successful but that my proceeds are non existent. I’m so pleased with my 2017 self for this glimmer of 2025 joy.
