Did you wake up with it crusted over completely though? I had a false alarm two years ago where I was sure I had it, but it was just dry eye that got inflamed- it felt like what you describe. (About a year later I got real pink eye and the crust was unmistakable)

Also I googled what the price point of a Montblanc was before posting because I only had to buy one (on a bosses credit card as a gift for someone, very long story) about 10yrs ago so I assumed prices had changed.

The Reddit group doesn’t seem toxic from what I’ve seen! There are a couple of people there that are probably single handedly responsible for helping thousands to get citizenship.

I suggest to check with the Reddit group r/GermanCitizenship before doing so. People post the status of their cases there and the new trend is that people are being told 18+ months is considered acceptable. You might save yourself the hassle if someone has already done it and shared there.
