First thought was: a 2nd color-dimension---which still works on a map---for variance in life expectancy*
Or
ahh, difference in distributions is hard to collapse
e.g. yellow saturation for total area above 1:1 ratio,
with red or blue saturation for primary difference of avgs

I think there are filtered streams that do that, I don’t know if those are among the events that jetstream emits
