Squeaking in one last narrative analysis video before the end of the year: Sierra's Space Quest II! This is the second time I've had to try and produce it, as the first time I forgot to hit record in OBS and ended up with my commentary and analysis, but no gameplay video.

Two more were in the Shadow Decade series. I wrote them in 2015-2017, set them in 2025 and 2026, and friends... did I misread the future. So I guess they're also alternate history now?

They were going to be a trilogy but after 2016's real world dark turn I just... couldn't continue. I burnt out.

Six of the novels were in the Galvanic Century series of steampunk mysteries, set in an alternate Edwardian history leading up to the Great War. In 2011 I was broke and couch-surfing, so to dip my toe into self-publishing I wrote a bunch of stuff under a bunch of pen names, and this is what sold.

#GameDev #DevLog: I've been working on a single-screen platformer in #godotEngine 4.5 in which the player is plundering billionaire's survival bunkers. This morning I implemented security cameras that sweep until they intersect the player, then stop and fire.

#DevLog: Implemented the Billionaire enemy to my #godotEngine platformer about plundering rich weirdos' survival bunkers. They'll pace around the top of the screen, occasionally attacking, and becoming incoherent with rage when you take their shit.

#GodotEngine #DevLog supplemental. This is a screenshot of what I've got as of Friday.

I think I'm going to want two to four types of enemy. As many as I can implement on Monday in the 2-3 hours I have to work on this daily. #gameDev
