NEW in Utah redistricting:
The district court did not agree to the ultra-fast preliminary injunction schedule proposed by GOP plaintiffs who are challenging the new congressional map in federal court. (They wanted a decision by 2/13.)
But court did schedule a 2/18 hearing.

And here's the original Utah gerrymandering plaintiff's opposition to expedited consideration of the PI request. They say that any emergency is solely the product of GOP delay & that they will be filing a motion to dismiss the Republicans' case.
