My similar take is that Parks and Rec made it funny and cool to hate the government

Kaiser has its issues but I still recommend it. YMMV but their informed consent has been easy to navigate for me. Having doctor/insurance within one walled garden simplifies a lot.

However, they are shitty on mental health and I pay out of pocket for therapy. PCP turnover seems high.

“I bought a donut & they gave me a receipt for the donut. I don't need a receipt for the donut. I'll just give you the money, you give me the donut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I just can't imagine a scenario where I would have to prove that I bought a donut.”

I’m also curious about the trailhead thing. I once had to try to get a Lyft to pick me up from a not-very-remote hike and no one wanted to bother. I wonder even if Waymo is authorized to operate in less dense areas, if the algorithm will ever decide that it’s just not worth it to do the pickup.

Can I very curiously and innocently ask why, as someone who has never been in a Waymo? Are they preferable to other types of ride share for you? Honestly curious!
