Idiot. The Russians tried to establish an airhead outside Kyiv, and were defeated at the battle of Antonov Airport. Then they rolled tank columns down both sides of the Dnieper—using highways!—and were beaten back.

The Solicitor General of the U.S. is openly lying to federal courts about what tariffs do, falsely claiming that tariff "deals" are agreements to pay "trillions of dollars." A disgrace to the legal profession and a disgrace to the office. He should resign.
John Sauer says that if the US had to pay back all the taxes it illegally collected from consumers, it might ruin the country.

Trump‘s firing of the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics because he didn’t like the numbers should alarm all of us. This is the kind of disinformation that can destroy an economy and integrity in government.

The Supreme Court punting a big Voting Rights Act case on the last day of the term was weird, until last week, when it became very clear that the justices did so because they want to use it to get rid of what remains of the Voting Rights Act

The Supreme Court Just Signaled Something Deeply Disturbing About the Next Term
A court fundamentally hostile to the rights of voters places the court increasingly at odds with democracy itself.

Trump is losing support among Republicans for his costly trade war. Americans can’t afford this.

We can end this chaos right now—all House Republicans have to do is decide to reassert their Constitutional power as a coequal branch of government.
