Just spent a delightful Sunday morning catching up on DC books. I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that @mariejavins.bsky.social is the best editor in chief DC has ever had.

The creative teams for these books are just exceptional

my wish for comics in 2026: the end of self cover books. I know it saves money, but the end product is so consistently bad.

Ever since switching to android from an iPhone almost two months ago, I've really noticed just how much better my 4/5g reception is in Edinburgh.

The construction of my nothing 3a helps, but it's wild. I used to get this thing where iOS would get stuck on Edge until I toggled cellular on and off.

Homebrew has honestly been the best secret ingredient in my raspberry pi setup, fantastic to see official support for the architecture
🍺 Today I'm proud to announce Homebrew (@brew.sh) 5.0.0 bringing you download concurrency by default, official support for Linux ARM64/AArch64, timescales for deprecating macOS Intel and removing macOS Gatekeeper bypass behaviours.

At no point do I plan to buy them, but I do appreciate that Meta Ray-Bans finally make found footage horror films plausible without all the storytelling gymnastics

In no way an ad, bought the lofree flow 84 lite and honestly I’m obsessed with it now.

Normally I can’t stand linear switches, but there’s some sorcery happening with those low profile switches.

I can't even tell you how happy this makes me. @kennym.bsky.social built the greatest comics app in the much missed Omnibus and I cannot wait to see what he and the @sweetdotdev.bsky.social do with Sweet Shop!
This week on Off Panel, @sweetdotdev.bsky.social's @kennym.bsky.social joins the podcast to talk about what he's building at Sweet, his own path to comics, why he wanted to build marketing tools and a new digital comic store, working with (and learning from) creators, and more.
