Just some guy who likes cats.
Ah, okay.

Here's my car before it was fully excavated.

I'd carved a channel to it, as you can see.

That was as I said one night of snowfall. Worst I can remember in such a short time.

I for one won't be setting foot in the US, in large part because I got little reason to, but if a reason appears I still won't, because they've arrested a dude from my country for Vance memes on his phone.

I got shit like this, and am openly confused why he wasn't hanged for treason.

Did you try danish open faced sandwiches? Especially Stjerneskud (translates to 'shooting star') is a banger. Always getting one when I'm in Denmark.

Ribbetallerken: roast pork belly with crackling, potatoes, dark roux gravy, lingonberry jam, sauerkraut and .... red sauerkraut? also some other veg. Usually with 'medister' sausage and patties.

Pinnekjøtt: salted (sometimes smoked) and air dried lamb ribs are soaked in water for 1-3 days prior to christmas (change the water every 12h), and is slowly steamed over sticks of bark-stripped birchwood. Often finished off in oven. Served with a coarse sausage and mashed rutabaga.

Many people here find it too dense and weird.

Dad loves it, I enjoy it occasionally.

My go-to is probably this one, "grovt landbrød". Translates to 'coarse/rough country bread'

A fairly typical selection of Norwegian grocery store breads, wide ranging.

Beef stock, that is. Then you simmer the meatballs in the thick roux sauce/gravy until cooked through.

Served with potatoes and lingonberry preserve.

Result should look something like this.

It would be like saying American food is exclusively string cheese eaten on it's own, or that Spanish is only paella but whay you get is just uncooked rice.

For example, the vid shows pinnekjøtt - which that vid shows is cured and steamed lamb ribs.

It's supposed to be served like this:

The old chestnut of "When the headline is a question, the answer is 'No'." holds true.
