God, this sucks, especially coming from one of the few remaining big-name media outlets that I actually still respected.
1/ At bargaining yesterday, @propublica.org management said that they should have 100% discretion to replace workers with AI and would not commit to labeling future AI-generated content.

A Chinese restaurant had a dish I really enjoyed, that they had on their menu as <protein> Gan Bian

But googling it shows this wasn't quite that. What this restaurant served had a lot of the same stuff, but wasn't entirely dry-fried, as the name suggests.

Im sure this is norwegianified.

Nothing more than perceived wealth that doesn’t exist for the purposes of taxes, but magically does for the purposes of leverage. Meanwhile, the rest of us pay real taxes on low wages and can’t leverage shit. The game is rigged. Tax the rich.
The world’s richest person just hit another major milestone thanks to the soaring valuation of his rocket maker SpaceX.

It cannot be overstated what a dangerous moment this is for European unity and safety. We’ve been complacent, viewing the US as a reliable ally - in the new Security Strategy they’re showing their true face. Meanwhile Russia continues its war of expansion. We must build the infrastructure to resist.
🚨🚨This is worse than we could have imagined: Full version of #Trump's national #securitystrategy reportedly calls for “pulling Poland away from #EU”. 🧵 notesfrompoland.com/2025/12/10/f...

BIRD FLU MAY BE WIND-BORNE
The time to vaccinate poultry is now, before we see human-to-human spread.
Egg producers suspect bird flu is traveling through the air.

After a disastrous Midwestern outbreak early this year, we tested that theory and found that where the wind blew, the virus followed.

Vaccines could help, but the USDA hasn’t approved them.

How would you even begin to describe the state of things? Bonus points if you tell the truth and they don't immediately try to go back into the coma.

If I didn't have a face for radio, and voice for mime, I would try to kick off a scandinavian (at least Norwegian) dollop spinoff, like the spanish one.

First topic would perhaps be Kristiania-bohemen. A group of artists and other counterculture figures in Oslo..

Bluesky doesn’t have a central algorithm that’s forced on everybody, and allows users to create their own feeds.

I think that is the *only* ethical model for social media going forward:
