Supporter of democracy and norms. Husband to a very patient Mrs D. The Jets will not break me…but they’ll try. DMB forever.
I think a very small percentage of Jets Twitter accounts have made it over here. I can only imagine the anxiety of those that haven’t right now. 😂

I’m very sorry that your family member suffered. That’s awful.

We’re either a nation of laws or we’re not. We can’t just sanction murder when we think people have a good reason to be upset.

Society will unravel.

They are going to get that care by murdering the CEO? Is that how that works?

What other scenarios are you prepared to sanction murder as an appropriate course of action?

Counterpoint: in a functioning democracy, all we have is the rule of law. You want to go after insurance companies through legal means, political means, legislative means, go for it. You don’t right civic wrongs through murder.

“Risky endeavor”? Are you suggesting he mount a legal defense that he preceded the killing with a declaration of war?

It’s murder. Murder is, you know, a really bad crime. Can I help you?

Okay, well, I guess we’ll just have to green light any extrajudicial killing that is performed in support of a societal problem. Should work out great.

Nope. We needed a wartime president.
December 13, 2024 at 1:36 AM
How does one set the immortality of extrajudicial killing aside, exactly?

The minute we do that, we are no longer a functioning society. We’re cavemen.

Comforting to know a billionaire so easily misled by misinformation is going to be in charge of finding efficiency in the largest bureaucracy in the world.

When he passed, the story about Mike Breen’s dad just killed me. Truly amazing guy.

They won’t ever make one like him again. I wish I got to see him play in his prime.

Well, sure, if you’re going make a Constitutional case out of it.
