I think that map is going to end up backfiring on Texas. They’ve given up some bright red districts in hopes of gaining more red-ish ones.

In a high turnout election, a lot of those seats could very well turn blue.

What they’ve described here is murder. Full stop. We don’t deny aid, and we don’t execute people who are trying to surrender.

It should make EVERYONE nauseous.

I’m honestly pretty surprised they haven’t leaked already, but I think if the administration tries to release a sanitized (read: no Trump / Republicans) version of it, we’ll start to see some leaks.

It reminded me of placating a toddler throwing a fit by distracting him with candy. It’s fucking insane that this man is the president of the United States.

Trump ousted/resigns for sure. Vance will be the lamest of the lame duck presidents. Nobody is afraid of him like they are Trump.

It feels like it, but the issue with Nixon is that the GOP actually gave a shit about their oaths of office back then.

That’s not the case now. They’ve completely abdicated their duty.

If the rumors of a mass-GOP defection on the files come to fruition, we might be closer to a real Nixon moment.
