There is no credible evidence of an afterlife, or heaven. These claims just haven't met the burden of proof.

Sorry.

Now, if we lose our tether to empirical reality and accept the heroic assumptions about heaven, there is a mountain of credible evidence that suggests that Trump is not going there.😎
mattflammable.bsky.social
I know everything is a firehose, but I think this deserves more attention.

The dude has certainly been contemplating the afterlife a lot lately.

I can’t not believe how hard it is to sleep when you’re watching your country, be dismantled by the dumbest people.

Note: Having played chess for decades I can confidently conclude that no player above the level of a fish willingly cedes the initiative to their opponent. /2
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Work faster. Act now with the forces already available.

If the ever cautious Europe waits until they are fully rearmed they will likely have waited too long. It would continue their long tradition of ceding the initiative to a ruthless opponent. /1

Make no mistake.

The recent incursions in our skies are part of a pattern of growing threats.

It’s time to call it by its name.
This is hybrid warfare.

Europe must get the capacity to respond and protect our skies.

Work has begun.

Such actions could drive home the reality of dictatorship to even the densest MAGA Zombie who has had their brain eaten away by decades of propaganda, and the supposedly freedom-loving flag-waving Gunaholics. /9

military. His ego very likely got in the way. He wants to bring the military to heel just for the personal satisfaction. Strategically, he only needed to keep them neutral.
As I wrote about recently, Americans traditionally aren't keen on having a military force occupying their cities and towns. /8
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Strategically, Trump's attempt to co-opt the military is still a bit of question mark. He doesn't really need them to do what he plans. He already has his pliant DOJ, the Department of Homeland Repression, and their ICE Gestapo.
He actually may be overplaying his hand with his plans for the /7

simply declare Trump God Emperor and be done with all the pretend to be a Republic pretense.

Again, as I've said, it's not possible to predict exactly how all this will go, but one thing is almost certain. It won't involve rainbows, unicorns and pony for everyone. /6
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Trump is still putting on the steel gauntlet of dictatorship one finger at time, likely not wanting to risk suddenly awakening the slumbering populace to the reality of dictatorship. This incident indicates that is likely because his team doesn't think they consolidated power sufficiently to /5
mefletcher54.bsky.social
It's pretty clear from his actions that Trump wants to go the modified military dictatorship route with the Department of Homeland Repression and the Department of Injustice and its FBI acting as his Committee for State Security. /4
mefletcher54.bsky.social
In exchange, SCOTUS get to keep their robes (for now at least), sense of self-importance, and bribe money. (How sweet of Trump to let them!) DOJ has been fully corrupted. There will no accountability for any crimes committed by the regime or its henchman, at least in the short to medium term.

/3
mefletcher54.bsky.social
We have already pulled into that port for all practical purposes. Trump has functional control of the federal government being that SCOTUS and Trump have almost certainly come to some sort of agreement whereby they support his dictatorship. /2
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Well, it's public now. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that this was their plan. Anyone with a brain concluded months ago that the Party of Sedition and Insurrection (nee GOP) has been steaming towards a dictatorship at flank speed since day one. /1
cwebbonline.com
Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

He was the Senate Pro Tem. The Pro Tem acts for the VP if the VP is not present.
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Correct. This is a very bad call, so much so that it calls his character into question.

It also puts him on the "do not vote for this man in the 2028 presidential primary" until such a time as he visits a deserted island to reconsider some of his poor life choices.

The people he hurt will never forget, but the people he's trying to impress will always pick the genuine fascist over the plastic imitator.

And Republicans will make up some transphobic shit to smear on him ANYWAY.

They have definitely moved into Radio Rwanda type rhetoric. Also, conveniently, they don't have to hand out cheap machetes. American is already armed to the teeth.
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Then, they can use the vague and broad laws left over from GWOT to go after just about anybody.
Make no mistake people, this is police state American style. Antifa and liberal are now in the same category of catch-all label as "Enemies of People" in other authoritarian nations. /2
mefletcher54.bsky.social
It should be obvious now to anyone who can sum 1+1=2 that Trump and his henchmen have reconfigured definitions and guidelines so that they can label anyone opposing Trump as a terrorist.
mefletcher54.bsky.social
The irony here is that domestic terror investigations in previous years were often tepid at best because most of the suspect groups (and are still now) right extremist groups. /1

In case we should forget, Grassley was also the guy who let slip that he was ready to take over for Pence because the VP wasn't expected to be there. How would he know that?

laurarbelin.bsky.social
"Arctic Frost" is what Grassley now calls the January 6 investigation (apparently the FBI used that name internally).

He doesn't want most people to realize this investigation was related to the January 6 coup attempt and broader conspiracy to overturn the results of a free and fair election.

Just asking:
Doesn't the GOP have to reopen the government to pass a libtard socialist bail-out for farmers destroyed by their own tariffs? 😎

Cowardice and lack of scruples among the political and corporate class are among the defining themes of our times. They believe in nothing beyond themselves, their profit statements, and getting elected again. Nothing.
mefletcher54.bsky.social
So you're saying Fox lies and fabricates interviews? Who would have guessed!

I guess they are fine with keeping up the lies, and they wrote off the almost billion in fines for lying as a propaganda business expense.

Guys, every person you see on Fox News in a mask is just Robert O'Neill, retired Navy Seal and occasional Fox News contributor. He's the former Antifa, former Gazan, former gang member. His eyes are very unique.
mefletcher54.bsky.social
Also, the actuarial tables disclose that Trump's chances of making it 28 are only marginally better than a coin flip. /4
