With snow on the ground and my backyard bird feeder mobbed on a daily basis, it’s only a matter of time before the Coopers Hawks show up. They as a species seem to have learned to hunt at bird feeders in suburbia.
This was last winter, a Coopers eating a dove it caught at my feeder.
