Here we share the lovely netsuke that inspired today's animation by Louie.

The netsuke depicts a boy and a 'daruma' doll, a traditional Japanese doll.

In Japanese snowmen are called ‘yuki daruma’, literally ‘snow Daruma’. The impression of the boy’s hand can be seen on the doll's belly.
