One for sorrow, two for joy...

Nothing compares to seeing a Terriahs game at Agannis Arener.

Born in '86, doctor did my titer when I was pregnant with my first and recommended a booster after delivery. Went to Walmart pharmacy at about 8 weeks postpartum (with an rx for the shot) and they refused at first because I was breastfeeding. I made them call doc who said it was OK. 🤦🏼‍♀️

We do candy, clementine, and one small gift in stockings for each person (2 kids, 2 adults). Kids still believe in Santa and it would be weird if he filled only the kids' stockings. I end up doing most of the labor for it but it also means I get to pick the candies and get myself a little treat.

The host would have an easy dinner that could hang out in the oven because arrival time could be varied due to traffic. Thus, we had The Traditional Thanksgiving Lasagna. (We did do the big turkey-based meal, but on Friday instead.)

My family (in CT) used to alternate hosting with my godparents in PA. When my brothers, cousins and I got to high school we always had football games on Thanksgiving itself (4/5 of us were band nerds), so we would attend those and travel Thursday afternoon.

Same goes for "What Sarah Said"

This gives me such hope because we are in full chaos toddler mode. I’m firmly not going to miss the alligator roll diaper changes, the flipped over chairs so he doesn't climb on the table, the googling "how to tell broken nose" after he headbutts me...
