I’ve been off work since Dec 23rd. And I’m so freaking thankful for the time off to relax, craft, paint my office/guest bedroom, cuddle my pets. I want to stay in this tiny pocket of reality and ignore what awaits us when the yr ends. Will cherish this week before whatever comes.

For the first time since probably 2015 my Spotify Wrap didn’t have BTS as my top artist! (Sorry boys, it’s too painful to listen while you’re away 😢) I’ve adored Mana since I was a pre teen believing love was like the songs they wrote. Mana continues to be totally kick ass. I totally recommend

Last Saturday I gifted myself an early birthday present. Titled “The Book Wyrm” I saw her at the art festival in West Palm Beach and I couldn’t leave her behind! Went to lunch and kept thinking of her and her hoard of books! I names her Octavia. I love her 😍

Placed a hold at the library and I didn’t realize it was for the graphic edition until I picked it up and I want to thank my brain for it. It probably thought it would be a better version for me to go through, less… scary? Safer? More comfy? Idk but thank you 🧠

Pluto left Capricorn so maybe I’ll know peace for the 1st time in 16 yrs. Doubtful, considering the state of world and current cabinet picks, but the sunrise was gorgeous this morning and I want to see that as a sign of change ahead, new dawn, cultural change, humanitarian revolution. Here’s hoping
